The Tilbury Learners’ Ensemble is the training wing of The Tilbury Band, providing an active way for the young (and young-at-heart) in Thurrock to learn to play a brass (or percussion) instrument and take part in music-making group activities.
The Learners’ Ensemble prides itself on its ability to train ‘raw beginners’ from scratch, helping them to learn to read music and progress musically. On the flip-side of this, there is a true sense of belonging. Learners are actively encouraged
